Mutual Aid Call to Sparta

Hardyston engine 316 was first due on this structure fire in Sparta on May 1, 2001. Upon arrival flames were coming out the basement door. Fire was knocked down within 15 minutes. One occupant was airlifted to the burn unit and an elderly lady was rescued from the burning structure.

Silver Lake Rd. Structure Fire

Hardyston Fire Dept responded to this structure fire on May 6, 2001. First due, Engine 311 arrived on the scene with reports of possible entrapment. A second alarm was requested immediately.

With the fire extinguished firefighters continue to do overhaul and start to pack away equipment no longer needed.

Sand Pond Structure Fire

May 18 - This structure fire in the Sand Pond Rd. area of the township was fully involved upon arrival of the first engine. Water supply was established a few miles away and multiple tankers did a water shuttle. 5" supply lines were established up a hill with inline engines.

Ralphs Deli North Church Rd.

May 15 - The tones went off for this structure fire on May 15. The fire in the building, a 1 story deli with an apartment in the rear, was contained to the deli portion. Firefighter Starick checks for hot spots in this picture.
