Ice Rescue Training 2002
Hardyston Fire Dept. memebers are now trained as ice rescue technicians. Even with the warm weather we had this winter we were still able to find a section of ice to train on. The ice was perfect for training, the initial hole that was cut in the ice was big enough for two people to get in, at the end of the day due to deteriorating ice conditions the hole ended up being about 10' in diameter.

The ice was about 4" thick but it was soft ice.
